International Zine Month 2021 – read BIPOC zines

Today’s International Zine Month (IZM) prompt is:

“Explore marginalized voices in the Americas. Buy, share, and read zines about racial justice and zines written by BIPOC (Black Indigenous and People of Color) from the Americas. Need a place to start? Check out Brown Recluse Zine Distro.”

I’d like to expand that to: reading, sharing, and buying zines by BIPOC anywhere, not just the Americas. And of course read and support zines by BIPOC every day, not just today.

A few years ago, I made a list of BIPOC zine resources for IZM. Tips for more BIPOC zine projects I can add are always welcome!

Some BIPOC zines I’ve loved reading and highly recommend:

Which zine(s) are you reading today?
