2022 was tough, as was the previous year… But creating stuff, reading zines, and witchery helped a lot so in this blogpost I’d like to focus on these fun and arty things. I want to share with you what I’m proud of and some nice memories from the past year:
The (witch)craft markets, punk/zine events, and workshops of the past few months
This year I started visiting and participating in craft markets again after a long pandemic pause* and I’m so happy with that possibility. I also gave two zine workshops, in August and in November. As we are approaching the very end of the year, I thought it might be nice to look back on these events and share some photos…
*Of course covid is not gone and people still die from it every day, so please take your responsibility and let’s take care of each other. ❤

Go Local art/craft market in Ghent (December 4th)
If you’re in or around Ghent (BE) on Sunday December 4th be sure to visit the winter edition of the Go Local art/craft market. I’m excited to announce I’ll be sharing a table with Wayfaring Moon Apothecaries and her delicious soaps. I’ll bring my zines, postcards, buttons, and more. We’ll also bring some Lavender Witch CDs. Don’t miss it!
Feminist zine workshop at Vrouwendag
On Friday November 11th I will teach a feminist (mini)zine workshop at the Vrouwendag event in Brussels. Vrouwendag is the National Women’s Day that has been organised in Belgium since 1972. It takes place in another city every year and this year Brussels and the venue De Kriekelaar (near Nord station) are its host.
Upcoming punk/witch events + webshop update
I’ve got two craft fairs coming up this month that I’m very excited about, one in Leuven (BE) and one in Lille (FR), AND I’ve just added more things in my webshop (zines, bookmarks, embroidery). I’m also brainstorming about taking commissions for drawing very special portraits… Read on to find out more about all of this:

Zine/witch events and plans in Autumn
Tis the season of the witch and as you know, every month is zine month! So I’m excited to announce that this Autumn I’ll be participating in a witch market, a craft fair, an art exhibition, and a feminist zine workshop. Come and say hi if you’re around! You can also read about some of my other plans for this season if you scroll down:
I’m participating in CritWitchCon! (+ new zine bundles)
I’m participating in Critical Thinking Witch Con 2022! It’s a witch con that focuses on sceptical / agnost / atheist / secular witchcraft. It’s the second edition and it was formerly known as the SASS Witch Con. Register here to attend the witch con (more info below). I’m one of the vendors at the event and will also definitely attend most of the panels and workshops because the programme sounds awesome and I don’t want to miss anything! 🙂 I expect it will feel like a zine fest or a ladyfest or another DIY event but focused on witchcraft and it’s virtual so you can attend from anywhere. The witch con will also discuss and apply that DIY idea which I’m super excited about.
For this occasion I added two new bundles in my Ko-fi webshop: a quaranzine comix bundle and a self-care mini-zine bundle! You can see some photos below: (And of course I have plenty of witchy zines, stickers, buttons, and spell bags in my shop!)
