Mini Zine March 2023 – (almost) free zine supplies

Here is a list of free or very cheap materials, supplies, and tools you can easily find and experiment with. They can be repurposed, recycled, and used for zines, journals, collages and other paper art projects. If you’re going to use any of them, I’d love to see what you’ve made! 🙂

Did you see these witches, bunnies & other monsters?

For me November is still spooky season. It could really last all throughout these dark Autumn and Winter days in my opinion (in the Northern hemisphere anyway). So how about some spooky reading materials? I have a few zines available for you:

NEW ZINES:

  • Witches’ Brew #5 – queer crone witch: full-colour mini-zine about the power of the queer crone witch
  • Witches’ Brew #6 – the faces of the moon: full-colour mini-zine about the moon phases and full moon names
  • Witches’ Brew #7 – time & space: an A6-size witchy perzine about sceptical/fluid/DIY witchcraft, witchy places, childhood memories, age, the wheel of the year, my magical morning routine, and more.
  • Witches’ Brew #8 – sigil catalog: a full-colour mini-zine filled with magickal symbols and a manual with different methods for how to make your own sigils
  • Bunnies & Other Monsters: a full-colour halloween-themed zine featuring Chainsaw Bunny and her friends

Springtime dreams coming true and artwork sneak peeks

As flowers are blooming and plants are sprouting, I feel encouraged to start new creative projects or grow my existing ones. In a previous blogpost I talked about what I am currently working on and now I’d like to show you some sneak peeks of the work in progress and finished items. The new zines, cards, and stickers will all be available soon! I’d also like to share some memories of my first Springtime 2022 wish coming true: taking part in an outdoors craft fair / flee market!

What am I working on this month?

I enjoy working on several creative projects all at once (can you tell?). There’s so much I want to do and make and I enjoy alternating between different artistic disciplines: a bit of writing, a bit of sewing, a bit of drawing, a bit of music… the more the merrier. Because I rarely set strict deadlines and I do them mainly for fun, these creative projects rarely overwhelm me – instead, it’s what keeps me going.
