2022 was tough, as was the previous year… But creating stuff, reading zines, and witchery helped a lot so in this blogpost I’d like to focus on these fun and arty things. I want to share with you what I’m proud of and some nice memories from the past year:
Hi, this is the final edition of “zines I read in 2022” but of course I will keep reading in 2023! This time we’ve got witchy, poetry, activist, and comic zines, and a bunch of feminist mini-zines that were made during National Women’s Day…
In this blogpost I’m showing the zines I read in October and November. I didn’t read as many as in previous months so I decided to combine these two months. This edition includes the zines I read during ZineWriMo (Zine Writing Month). They talk about self-care, herbs, crushes, travelling, tarot, cats, and more.
Spooky times require spooky entertainment! If you’re not sure what to watch or read these days, I have some recommendations for you:
Zine show & tell time! I didn’t have as much time and energy to read zines last month but still came across some awesome ones I’d like to show you:
First, a little announcement: the outdoors zine-making gathering that I’m organising tomorrow in Ghent will be cancelled due to rainy and chilly weather. Sorry about that! I hope to be able to organise one in October if the weather spirits are in our favour. 🙂 If you still want to do creative stuff tomorrow, I can recommend going to Girls Go BOOM’s button-making workshop at the Meubelfabriek!
I guess tomorrow will be more indoors zine-reading than outdoors zine-making weather… So here are some recommendations: Last month I read a bunch of lovely zines again. This time they talked about exciting topics such as music, herb foraging, graveyards, ageism, aromantic plants, and ghost towns, and featured comics, collages, photography, travel stories, interviews, and more… Discover them all here:
With a little bit of delay, here’s what I read during International Zine Month (IZM)…
Here are all the zines I read last month: zines about plants, woodworking, mental health for activists, sexual abuse, tarot, and more!
Welcome to my monthly zine recommendations aka the list of zines I read in the past month! This time I found reading pleasure in publications about gardening, Star Trek, mental health, witchery, the pandemic, and more…
Hi there! Let’s delve into my zine treasure chest and explore what I read in April:
