Winter Solstice travel journal

I made this mini travel journal in December 2022. It seems a bit strange to look through and share it in the middle of Spring but then again Winter is approaching in the Southern hemisphere and even in some parts of the Northern hemisphere it’s been snowing recently.

May Day crafts

Here are some things I’ve been working on in the past few days that I wanted to share: a journal made out of an envelope (tutorial by Meghann & the Moon) for the Changing Paths journaling challenge by Yvonne Aburrow (to promote their new book of the same name), a page for Beltane in my Spiral Grimoire, a broche made out of a safety pin + felt + fabric scraps (tutorial by Kool Kooky Kreatures), and the May Day triptych you could already see on my May Day altar. I’ll post more pages from the Changing Paths envelope journal when it’s finished…

Artjournal about the seasons and sabbats

In the past few weeks I decorated and filled a new journal that is all about the witchy holidays and seasons. The journal contains pages that keep ideas, colours, tools, and symbols for each pagan sabbat. For this project I used an empty artjournal/junkjournal that was made by Meghann And The Moon and I was immensely inspired by the Wheel of the Year mini grimoire by Corregan The Crone.

ZineWriMo 2022 part 1 – zine ideas, art grimoires, and where I find inspiration

In this blogpost, I’m sharing some creative projects that I worked on this week. For example there’s the ZineWriMo challenge (Zine Writing Month) in November. Even though I’m not following all the ZineWriMo prompts by Sea Green Zines, you should take a look at them because they are fun! Apart from zines, I’m going to show you what I made so far for the magickal grimoire / artjournal course by Molly Roberts

The magick of notebooks

Ok, I admit it, I’m a hoarder of notebooks, sketchbooks, and journals. But I do use them! And it’s also nice to have some not-yet-used options readily available in a box so I can choose from them for new projects instead of having to go out and buy a new one.

In this blogpost I’d like to show you some of my witchy notebooks and journals that are currently in use. I kind of feel like a kid working in these and I love it. Witchcraft opened up new creative opportunities for me that I’m very happy with. Since the pandemic I’ve used/filled about a dozen new sketchbooks/notebooks and the ones I started in the past 13 months are all witch-themed in some way. So let’s take a look…

Hi! Welcome to another International Zine Month (IZM) update! I hope you’re coping well with whatever the season is bringing, whether it’s heat waves or snow storms. Be sure to make some time for resting and reading zines. 🙂 In this blogpost I’m showing you my button machine and my #witchyjournalchallenge pages, reorganising my zine shelves, brainstorming for new projects, and inviting you to create zines together!

Herbal walks – collecting Springtime herbs and flowers

Springtime is my favourite season, not only because of the weather – sunny but no heatwaves yet – but also because I love to see all the blossoms and flowers appearing everywhere… It feels like a fresh start and all that colour inspires my creativity and curiosity too. In this season I love walking around, looking around, and taking some plant samples home…
