Photo report – Zine Afternoon in Putney Library

IMG_8595webSaturday May 7th 2016 at Putney public library in London:

Fliss of Athemaura zine and the SWZines collective organised a zine afternoon in the Putney libary (in the south west of London) on May 7th. Fliss has been making zines for 20 years now. That’s why she set up a very nice exhibition of her zine work. Besides Fliss’ and my zines, there were zines for sale from other zine makers from Belgium, the UK, and Germany. It was a really interesting selection and I left with plenty of¬†fresh reading materials. ūüôā

Making zines in Lille and Brussels

IMG_5201webLast¬†week the second edition of the DIY feminist festival “Et Biiim” was organised¬†in Lille, France.¬†The program looked so interesting! A Take Back The Night (“marche de nuit”), discussions on various feminist themes, workshops, concerts and parties… On Friday and on Saturday¬†there were 6-hour zine workshops. Chouette! As I was tired/ill, I only went 1 day (and sadly missed the “marche de nuit”), but I was happy I did go on Saturday!

Zine afternoon – June 21st in Brussels

IMG_2487webThe 24 Hour Zine Team will collaborate with the Lesbian Pulp/Wittig group to organise a zine-making afternoon on June 21st in the Rainbowhouse in Brussels. Together we’ll make a zine about sisterhood, space, lesbian identity¬†and/or feminism. Each participant can make one or more pages, which we put together to make a collective zine. Come and join us!

  • When? Sunday June 21st 2015 at 13:00 – 18:00
  • Where? Rainbowhouse: Lollepotstraat 3, Brussels
